About Me
I am an LCSW with experience primarily working with individuals living with chronic mental illness. I have experience working in inpatient psychiatric care, residential treatment for LGBTQ+ individuals in recovery, and outpatient community mental health care. I am trained in crisis intervention, harm reduction, and trauma informed care. I use an integrative approach, as I believe that therapy is not "one size fits all" and should be personalized and adjusted to you as you navigate in your therapeutic journey.
What should a new client know about working with you?
From depression and anxiety to mood disorders, to life adjustments, I'm here to support you. I'm a person centered, harm reduction focused therapist, meaning I want to help YOU to see that you're the expert in your own life. I will provide a safe space without judgement and with compassion to meet you where you are on your journey. Rather than give you advice or tell you what you "should" do, I will help you to explore what it is you want to do and how to get there. You can expect a space that is collaborative, non-judgmental, and autonomy focused. I'm ready to explore and get curious together at a pace that feels natural for you.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
We will start with a free 15 minute consultation call to get a feel for each other, you can ask questions and I'll learn a bit about what you're seeking in therapy. If we decide to work together, we will collaborate on a game plan.
